Healing in Jotunheim
A Healer is simply another name for a Physician. In the Camps or Barrens Healers tend to the sick and injured, in the Cities a physician would do the same. That is the limit of the definition of difference between the two names. A FW who is a Healer in Jotunheim is a full Healer regardless of her FC state or the number of children She has had. The rule of a FW only being admitted fully in her Caste after having two children is practiced in SOME cities, it is not a standard around Gor. Free Persons are Healers, they have the full rights and privileges of Caste, a slave is NOT a healer. While some slaves can do some healing, they are not members of the Caste, they do not wear healer or healing slave on their tags and they do not take precedence over a Healer in treating Someone who is sick or injured. A slave may do some things if a Healer is not available, but will relinquish the patient to the Healer and REMAIN attentive to assist as needed. This is the same for Members as well as Non-Members of Jotunheim, slaves brought to assist in treatment will stand aside and assist a Healer. At no time will a Healer be told that a slave will treat a patient over them. Healers must have Healer in Their tags to be recognized as such. Jotunheim is not other rooms please understand the rules here before starting to treat anyone. Healers need to learn their Caste from other Caste members, not by reading this site, therefore, not everything will be listed here as this is only a general rundown on things. NOTE: A Jotunheim Healer will stop another Healer in Their treatment if the practice is against the established treatments of Jotunheim.
