Jotunheim Landfall

Sample Scoring Sheets

Four (4) or Six (6) posts each with maximum Three (3) actions per post these can be any combination of:
One Positional Movement and Two Strike actions,
OR
One Positional Movement and Two Defence Actions.

A Postional Movement is a Movement WITHIN the 'Circle of Action'
Examples
"Dropping to one knee"
"Stepping to the left (right)"
"Stepping back one"
"Twisting (Turning) My body to the left (right)"
They are Movements to enable an attack or a defence.

NOTE: These actions do NOT Score... as in themselves they do not wound or prevent wounding. But, Judges should take them into account when judging realism and perhaps in applying the Judges Variation points.

Posts flow as following:

Fighter 1 Post 1 - Attacking - 1 Positional Movement, 2 Attack Actions

Fighter 2 Post 1 - Defending - 1 Positional Move, 2 Defence Actions
Fighter 2 Post 2 - Attacking - 1 Positional Move, 2 Attack Actions

Fighter 1 Post 2 - Defending - 1 Positional Move, 2 Defence Actions
Fighter 1 Post 3 - Attacking - 1 Positional Move, 2 Attack Actions

Fighter 2 Post 3 - Defending - 1 Positional Move, 2 Defence Actions
Fighter 2 Post 4 - Attacking - 1 Positional Move, 2 Attack Actions

Fighter 2 Post 6 - Attacking - 1 Positional Move, 2 Attack Actions

Fighter 1 Post 6 - Defending - 1 Positional Move, 2 Defence Actions

NOTE:
    - Attack points are SUBTRACTED from the Defender's Bank.
    - Defence points are ADDED to the Defender's Bank
    - Time penalties are DEDUCTED from the Poster's Bank

Time allowed between posts is 3 minutes 30 seconds using server time. Penalties for overrunning time:

  •   Up to 4 minutes = minus half point.
  •   4 minutes and under 4 minutes 30 seconds =       minus 1 point.
  •   4 minutes 30 seconds and under 5 minutes =       minus 2 points.
  •   5 minutes and over = forfeiture of the fight.       Opponent is declared winner.

Movements to and from the action (ie: upto and away from the actual close combat circle - anything over the reach of a longswords tip - arm outstretched) do not count as actions, but must be present to validate the actions and render them Realistic.

Judges look carefully at Blocking or Avoiding Defence actions to determine whether or not they are realistic and feasible... taking into account the position of the defender, and the following action of the defender.
