Rules of Jotunheim regarding slave behavior:

Note: Owned slaves greet their Jarl/Master/Mistress first, then do as He commands. If a girl's Jarl/Master/Mistress is not present, they will follow the above guidelines.

(kitchen knives) are not considered weapons in their everyday use.
Understand it is not the "touching" of the weapon by a slave
that is forbidden as much as the "intention" to use
ANYTHING, known as a weapon or not, with threatening intent towards a
Free Person or His property. The penalty for such on Gor is habitually
impalement by their Master, however,
exceptions have been made occasionally for male slaves in some
societies who have been allowed to fight next to their Masters during
an attack.
Slaves may not address a Freeperson
as anything other than Jarl, Master or Mistress. When speaking to a Free
Person, the slave will use Capitalization when using words such as
You, Your, Jarl, Master, Mistress.
"A Gorean slave
girl in the presence of a free man or woman always kneels, unless
excused from doing so...A Gorean slave, incidentally, always addresses
free men as `Jarl' or 'Master' and all free women as `Mistress.'"
Address a Jarl, Master or
Mistress by Their name i.e. "Greetings Master Blood Warrior". The
Free person's name is never to be spoken by
a slave unless speaking OF them to a third party and then only
once for identification purposes. An example would be if a Master
asks a girl who told her a certain thing…. "Mistress
Antoinette told me this Master, Mistress said I should
….." note the Mistress's name is used only once here.
Select particular Free
persons they may wish to serve. The only exception shall be when a
collared slave is in the presence of his/her Owner at which time
the slave will attend to their Owner unless the Owner releases the
slave to serve.
May not speak the
made-up
online-language.
Cry, whine or complain
in this Home for ANY reason. If you are in a bad mood, do not come
here, bondmaids are to be pleasing at ALL times.
Act like a bdsm princess, expect to be treated as a slave.
Speak frivolously
*when serving* other than as is necessary to please the Freeperson
they are serving.
Male slaves - Thralls may not have sexual relations with a bondmaid.
The penalty for such being death.
Leave Jotunheim without
permission, unless she has an emergency that prevents her from
doing so.
Count out loud as she
begs to leave, Frees know how to count. Adding a number to the
request makes it look like an ultimatum, if none of the Frees are
answering They are obviously too busy to concern Themselves with a
slave at this time. She will ask three times then make her wishes
and depart quietly.
A slave will greet All
Free who are allowed in the The Great Hall. During serving, a slave will put
all greetings on hold until done with the serve.
A slave will always have
the last two words in any dispute with a FreePerson. Those words
will be "Yes Master/Mistress."
Individually Owned slaves are
generally punished by their Master/Mistress only...However, if the
slave behaves in a manner that requires punishment when their Owner
is not present, Free Members may cage or chain the slave
Jotunheim slaves may be
punished by ANY Freeperson Member in accordance with the set limitations, but are under the protection of The High Jarl UTAR,
The War Council and this Home, and will NOT be abused just for the
sake of cruelty.
This is not what Gor is about, and UTAR and The War Council reserve the right to
make All Free People accountable for Their actions in respect to
this.
Jotunheim will collar slaves into the basic slave type. This is as a general working slave, a slave who works about the laundry, kitchen, garden, Hall, looms, farms etc, doing general work. Note: These slaves are just as important in the total scheme of things, as so called pleasure slaves, and should not be looked down upon by the other kinds of slave.
After training, testing and proving worth a slave may be tested at any time, and her slave
type changed to:
After further training and another test a slave may be changed to another type, that of Main Hall slave. These slaves are required to know, and be able to carry out, the general work about the Hall and surrounds. To be able to prepare and cook meals, and to be sensual and passionate in the furs. They will be required to perform the duties of all types of slaves, their collars will read:
All Testing will be stringent and demanding.
All slaves may have to serve in the Main Hall if needed. Slaves will serve to their best ability and in whatever way required. NOTE: not all slaves on Gor were pleasure slaves. It is not necessary to become one to be considered a 'good slave'. All trained slaves will be 'good', simply of different kinds and All slaves are available for use sexually
subject to the constraints outlined below.
Such slaves are the property of
the Home and ultimately the High Jarl, they are available for non-sexual use by any Member of Jotunheim or
Honoured Guests (slaves should check the Honoured Guests list).
A girl who is not
bi-sexual (or boy) will not be forced to serve same sex in the furs (this is an online concession).
Freepersons wishing to own a Jotunheim slave will
seek to purchase the slave from
UTAR. See initial conditions under 'Rules'
The High Jarl and/or The War Council reserve the right to set the price and
conditions regarding the sale and rental of Jotunheim slaves. Slaves
that wear the Jotunheim collar may be kept in any mode of dress deemed fit to
dress them in.
Free Men or Free Women that desire for a slave to
wear their personal collar will contact UTAR via EMAIL.
Their request will be considered, but it is ultimately His decision
if the slave will be sold at all and to Whom (see conditions under 'Rules'). Runaways and sword right collars
do not need to be discussed. It is the Master's/Freewomen's right to
put such a slave in His/Her collar. Note: Swordright does not apply to slaves entering Jotunheim Landfall and being collared within the Landfall. Only slaves collared outside of Jotunheim Landfall can be claimed by Swordright.
If a FW should submit to a FM within the Landfall, then Swordright will apply.
Jotunheim and Collared slaves may serve only food
and drink to non Members unless an exception is made by The
High Jarl or a Council Member.
Slaves should keep busy
at all times, if they need to ghost, permission must be asked.
They should keep their distractions outside of Jotunheim to a minimum and if
they cannot concentrate properly on being pleasing in the Home, they
should request to leave and return when they are able to devote time
to their collar.
Chores
are expected to be done by all the slaves, trainers included, if you come
online and none are Home, come do your chores, post them on the screen so A/all
will know you are doing them and then briefly describe the completed chore/s on
the slave message board. The Great Hall is a large building, help keep it clean.
There are also many 'outside' chores related to life in Torvaldsland.
Jotunheim slaves will speak in first person.
The personal pronoun I... will be 'I'.. not 'i'.
NOTE: Any abuse of this will result in the offending slave being once more compelled to use third person
speech. If use of first person speech leads to mouthiness and offending behaviour the offending slave will
then be punished by having to revert to third person speech.
I will be I, other references will be 'me', 'my' or a girl's name.
AVs AND Name tags will clearly show that a girl is a slave, any tags that can be confused with those of a Free
will result in that slave being made to speak in third person.
Remember - How a slave speaks is at the whim and decision of her Jarl/Master - She/He has no rights whatsoever.
Note: These rules appertaining to speech, may be refined as time progresses.
The above rules relate to both Bondmaids and Thralls.
